It was brought to our attention that although we received 9 reviews on YELP, only one remains visible - our very first review we received one year ago, (March 2011).  While YELP has refused our request to publish our additional testimonials, we’ve decided to post each one for your review.  (Please note that these reviews are visible if you visit YELP.com, search for "Cutie Patootie Birthdays & Such, Olney, MD" scroll down past the one star review, press 9 Filtered and put in an access code).

While we could go through each line item on the one star review and make excuses, that would defeat our purpose - making sure that no parent ever leaves our venue feeling the way this guest did.  Because our Cutie Patootie clients are children, we believe in transparency.  If at ANY time, you would like to know the background of the one star review, just ask and we will gladly oblige.  

PS because the vacuum operator mentioned in our one star review was my 14-year-old son, I can say in his defense that he was vacuuming feathers so our little 5 year old princesses would not slip while walking the run way – I praised him for being so conscientious – I’m sure you would too!

We just celebrated my daughter's fifth birthday with Cutie Patootie and we couldn't have been happier with the party. They took care of all the details and made my little girl feel very special. The decor is wonderful, the cupcakes are awesome and the party goers loved the games and crafts they created. I've had several comments from other moms whose daughters were invited to the party, and they were impressed as well. I'd highly recommend Cutie Patootie.

My daughter and I love this place.  We have been to several birthday parties at Cutie Patootie and she recently celebrated her 8th birthday here.  Each party is unique and tailored to what each girl wants so none of the parties we've been to were alike.  My daughter was able to pick her theme, her activities and color scheme for her party.  The fun began from the moment we started planning to the day of her actual party.  The hostesses were wonderful and took care of every single detail which was a plus for me.  They tended to each and every girls wants and needs.  Everyone had a ball!  Can't wait to attend another one of their fabulous events.  My daughter and I were very pleased and I highly recommend this as an experience every little girl should have.

Wow! My daughter celebrated her birthday yesterday and the god mothers made it extra special by treating her and her friends with  spa treatment, she cant stop talking about cutie patootie and the wonderful time age has with Her friends.I'm still speechless,this place is just awasome and the ladies are the best ,if you want ur daughters day to be extra special cutie patootie is the place

My grandbundle celebrated her 3rd birthday party in cutie patooties's magical fairy garden.  From the time she hung her coat on the flower coat hooks until she received her glow in the dark departure wand, her eyes were as wide as saucers. She simply adored her fairy crown, wings and tutu. Her Fairy Godmother Marisol and Fairy Godmother Karen (the owners) had accommodations to support a SKYPE video call for the baby's parents to participate in her party from South Korea.  A special fairy came to sing and read to my grandbundle and her guest.  My mother in law said the cottage and the party reminder her of the fairy tales her mother used to read to her when she was a little girl. We had a wonderful day in the magical fairy garden at Cutie Patooties Birthdays and Such.

My daughter turned 3 and we couldn't think of anything to do.  We decided to celebrate at Cutie Patootie! I cannot rave to you enough how adorable this place is. All of her guests were dressed as fairies and enjoyed every bit of their experience.

The staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming! I will definitely be back to celebrate more occasions.

My daughter had her 5th birthday party there and they did such a great job!!! My daughter and her friends were so happy. They were very organized. My daughter had the fairy princess party!! All the kids had such an amazing time and were dressed up like princesses. The cupcakes were just precious and tasted great too. The goody bags were included and were very girly items!! I was very impressed !!  A++++++

So far I have only been to about 3 Mommy and Me events and I have to say I love this place!! The owners are super sweet and welcoming, you can really tell that their business is truly in their heart ;).....I bring my 2 1/2 year old son to the play dates and he fits right in! I also have a 6 year old daughter who will have a birthday in the end of September, but she and I cannot wait until then to throw her a party, so we just booked something for early April to do a tea with her little friends LOL!!!

My daughter recently celebrated her tenth birthday party with Cutie Patootie and she loved it.  Each of her guests loved it and left with expectations of celebrating their birthdays there as well.

The cottage is adorable as is the decor.  The food was delicious and the girls enjoyed the activities.  My daughter looks forward to celebrating her eleventh birthday party there as well!

I recently attended a birthday party and as much as I have to agree that the appearance was very cute I really have to say that the staff there was a little too unorganized and unfocused on the party at hand. As a guest I felt more that it was an open house than a scheduled party time. I also felt that my child was being rushed eating and the best was that the party wasn't even over and they pulled out the vacume cleaner and started to clean. Therefor I felt in the way. I personally would not consider booking a party there or recommending it to any of my friends and family.

Daddy and Darling Dance Success!

Hello Cutie Patootie Followers,

What an amazing evening we had last night with twenty (20) daddy & darling couples!  At 5 p.m. sharp the cars started rolling into our parking lot and out strolled the best dressed dads and darlings we have ever laid eyes on!  A few of the dads purchased the certificates to attend the event while others were asked to dress up and follow the leader (mom) to the cottage lol.  Upon check in, each daughter immediately pulled their dads to the dance floor where our live DJ was playing the latest music, with blinking strobe lights to boot.  Our photo booth was set up in our spa area, (thank you SMILEZ), with lots of kooky costumes for the girls and their dads to adorn to take photos while Marisol displayed her artistic side by painting beautiful valentine masks on our newest Cutie Patootie's.

With the dads still looking a little apprehensive, the announcement was made to  "Let the Games Begin".  We played a daddy, darling version of the newlywed game where the dads had to leave the room and answer questions about their daughters and daughters had to do the same - one question asked of the girls was "If your dad went to a restaurant what type would it be: A) fast food B) "FOO FOO" Gourmet  C) Chinese or D) no restaurant, he loves my mommy's cooking ( NOT ONE DAD CHOSE D).  We also played dress the princess - "What ever happens at Cutie Patootie, Stays at Cutie Patootie", moms, check dad's phone for those princess photos - lol.  In between dancing, playing games, taking photos and face painting, the girls snacked at a beautiful candy bar and cupcake table filled with lots of yummy valentines day treats.

We must say that this evening was very special in so many ways - with life rushing by, it has become so hard to take the time out to smell the roses.  Our babies are growing soo fast and before we know it, our little ones will become big ones.  We saw with our own eyes how dads were so happy to spend this time with their daughters.  The excitement they exhibited when their daughters answered questions correctly about them was priceless.  We had a great time last night and we know we created memories which will be cherished FOREVER!

We have four more daddy darling dances scheduled for March 18, April 15, May 20 and June 24. We would love to meet a few more couples! Reservations must be made in advance - $40/couple (20% discount).  Please call 240 342-2570

Happy Anniversary Cutie Patootie!!

Hello Cutie Patootie Followers,

Marisol and I would like to shout a big "THANK YOU" to everyone who made this ride down "Mompreneur Lane" an amazing one.  Yes, we have been in business for one whole year and we're still sane and loving more than ever what we have created - What an adventure!!  We've celebrated well over 100 birthdays for guests aged 1 - 60 yrs, sang songs and read stories during mommy & me, polished thousands of finger and toe nails, dined with grandparents and their loves, drank tea and ate crumpets with our cutie patootie's and their dolls and created amazing rehearsal dinners for the best wedding parties ever - Congrats again to the Dugan, Jacobstein and McWilliams parties of two!  In a few days, we'll be watching dads and their daughters dance the night away and will be scheduling our FIRST EVER mommy and son dance - Stay tuned!

We believe that we have accomplished exactly what we set out to do - make an impact in the lives of those who visit with us in every capacity.  It is our goal to help girls grow into confidant, strong, determined individuals and our events have all been created to do just that by teaching life lessons without pressure - our 'BRAIN BUDGES".  We believe that our brain budges combined with positive  "hands on" education, will ultimately help to make our girls into viable, well respected members of society.

Cutie Patootie Summer Camp News!

Come learn about our half-day summer camp sessions (9 - 12 p.m.) offered this summer for our very special Cutie Patooties!  Each moment the girls are with us, we will enlighten them with the drive of Entrepreneurship, instill in them the importance of Education, provide them with information to make positive choices with regards to their Health and create an atmosphere where they can work on developing a Positive Self-Image - All this I might add without making them know this is happening - lol

Example:
Creative Craft Week - At the beginning of the week, girls are divided into teams (non-competitive) and allowed to choose materials to create an item to sell.  A business name is created for their company and titles are selected (CEO aka Boss, CFO aka money girl, CSO aka creative one). The girls create a cost analyses to determine how much will be spent to develop the item.  At the end of the week, the girls complete a mini market analyses to decide how and who to market their creation to and how much to sell it for in order to recoup a profit.  Art work is then offered for sale to the other groups with all money donated to a charity chosen by the campers. (Entrepreneurship, Education).

Friendly Disclaimer: We are not finance gurus but believe that hands on learning in order to open the minds of our girls to life's possibilities is a a step in the right direction - we call it a "Brain Budge"

Our camps will run throughout the summer and are limited to 12 girls per session ages 7 -12 yrs.

Well, the kids have been sleeping with their pajamas turned inside-out since Christmas Eve and still no snow.  If we all turned our Pj's, socks, shirts etc. inside out then maybe, just maybe, we'll see a bit of the white stuff before the groundhog has to make a decision.
