Cutie Patootie Breaking News

Hello Cutie Patootie Followers:

Just when we thought we had captured every theme in the party arena, we just booked a very cute non-birthday party.  Thank you "S" for allowing us to be a part of this very special event:

"I'm going to be a Big Sister"
A family of four (soon to be five) arrived at the Cottage to discuss a birthday party for their nine year old daughter.  Four year old little sister "S" had a birthday in November and became rather restless listening to her parents and her Big sister plan the upcoming birthday celebration.  I took little "S" in for an impromptu mini manicure while my partner continued with the appointment.  With the cutest lisp I've ever heard, she began her baby sister rant "She geths everything", "Her birthday alwayths comeths before mine", "I wisth I wasth the big sthisthter" - Whallaaa (Is this a word?) we created an "I'm going to be a big sister" party just for her.  She will arrive with a few of her friends and we will have a "mini" big sister shower for her mom in June.  The girls will get to make all types of gifts for the baby, play games and eat blue cupcakes to celebrate her baby brothers arrival.

{{Big Hugs "S"}}, no tears allowed in the Cutie Patootie cottage!

Cutie Patootie News

Hello Cutie Patootie Followers:

My partner and I continue to meet such wonderful girls.  Each guest of honor who enters our cottage brings with her a free spirit, an amazing personality and a group of friends who make her special day one to remember forever!

Birthday Party News - 3/25 and 3/26

On Friday, March 25, my partner and I helped to celebrate a new Cutie Patootie's 11th birthday with a Jr. Club Patootie party.  The birthday girl arrived with six friends right after school to enjoy a mini spa treatment before the festivities.  Each guest received a mini manicure and mini pedicure followed by hair styling and light make up.  After the mini makeover (lol), the girls dressed in their finest dresses with heels and awaited the remaining 19 girls to arrive (yes, no co-ed party until you're a tween - unless your parents say yes). From 6 - 8 p.m., the girls ate mini sliders, pizza, chicken tenders & french fries, drank the birthday girls signature beverage and danced the night away.  With a jammin live DJ, disco ball, strobe lights and a ton of glow items, the girls had the time of their lives (or so they say). The kids weren't the only ones to put on socks - parents who remained jumped in to party as well.

On Saturday March 26, my partner and I welcomed a new 3 year old to the Cutie Patootie pool.  Our little fairy has resided with her grandparents for almost a year as both parents are in the service - South Korea (we can't say thank you enough!).  When our little one entered the cottage, her brain, not yet able to translate what her eyes could see, allowed her to mutter a very soft "wow", followed by "Can I put on my fairy dress"?  Her grandparents "SKYPED" her parents in for the festivities - It was 1 a.m. their time.  Our little one and her guests sang songs with our Fairy, listened to enchanting stories of fairy friends and flying dragons and danced to nursery rhymes they will surely hear once again when they begin school.  My partner and I are sure that when these babies were put down to rest that they dreamed of fairies far and wide!

Later the same day, March 26, my partner and I welcomed a new double digit Cutie Patootie - the birthday girl had hit the big One - Zero (10).  With Oriental Spa music playing softly in the background, the birthday girl and her guests removed their shoes and were given a pair of spa slippers, head band and Cutie Patootie robe to begin their spa experience.  How excited were we to find out that a previous DIVA Runway guest was on her second party invite (yes, we remember everyone who enters our venue lol). Once dressed, the girls were split into two groups - one began facials while the others started pedicures, switching once they were complete.  This group of young ladies were such characters.  While soaking feet and reading magazines in the spa room , I learned that one 18 year old actress was dating a 17 year old actor - "how could she date someone so young" they asked?  I responded yeah, how could she!  What a fun age - old enough to be independent yet young enough to still be dependent.

My partner and I decided to plan custom parties for girls because we realized that each little girl was soo different in her own little way.  We have proven ourselves correct because although we've planned several parties, NOT ONE has been the duplicate of another. We'll post brief party updates each weekend to prove our point.

Well, {{Big Hugs}} until we post again

Hello Cutie Patootie Followers:

Birthday Party News
This weekend was a whirlwind one:

Three Patootie parties (One Spa and Two Fairy)
Three ecstatic birthday girls,
Thirty-four excited friends
Lots of amazed moms (PRICELESS)

Party #1
Our Spa girl came in and was soo amazed at her "5 star" spa we created for her - several of the moms offered to stay and "help out" lol.  The girls were split into four groups and visited four stations: mini mani's, mini pedi's, facials and aroma therapy.  In between sessions, the girls dined on mini sandwiches & fruit kabobs while sipping on pink lemonade in pink sugar rimmed glass goblets. Two hours and fourteen girls later - smiles from ear to ear!

Party #2
Ten girls came to share in the birthday celebration for their very good friend and family member.  After dressing in our custom fairy costumes, the girls paraded outside, conducted a fairy activity and played fairy games before eating  and participating in "cupcake conversation".  The birthday girls grandma loved it soo much we made her an honorary "Cutie Patootie".  You're never too old to party!

Party #3
Eleven girls came to celebrate with our three year old today.  When we took the birthday girl by the hand and led her to her Fairy table, "AWESOME", was the response we received.  These little ladies made our hearts melt and our tummies tickle as they asked the visiting fairy princess how she arrived, how & where she takes baths and how much they wanted from her friend "the tooth fairy" when they start to lose their teeth.

We're soo looking forward to meeting our next batch of Cutie Patooties beginning next Friday!
